Eric Sardinas (born November 10, 1970 in Fort Lauderdale , Florida ) is an American blues rock guitarist.

Sardinas learned to play the blues on the guitar at the age of 6. He used shots of Barbecue Bob , Charlie Patton , Bukka White , Big Bill Broonzy , Elmore James and Muddy Waters as templates .

After unsteady years, Sardinas came to Los Angeles in 1990 . Before founding the Eric Sardinas Project (ESP), he played on the street, initially only with bassist Paul Loranger, and later with drummer Scott Palacios.

They played in clubs for many years until the music industry noticed them. They were hired to support Johnny Winters and in 1999 recorded their first album on Evidence. After another record ( Devil's Train ), the band switched to the Favored Nations Entertainment label founded by Steve Vai , under which their third work was released. Steve was a guest musician.

In 2001 and 2005 the Eric Sardinas Band played as opening act for Steve Vai on his world tours. On February 19, 2008, the album Eric Sardinas And Big Motor was released . In 2011 the album Sticks & Stones followed on the Provogue label with Levell Price on bass and Chris Fraizure on drums. Dave Shultz is at the keyboard.
