The Erich Fleischer Verlag is a specialist publisher of tax law, based in Achim in Bremen .

history

The publishing house was founded in 1954 by tax advisor Erich Fleischer in Bremen. In 1962 the company moved to Achim, where the publishing house with editing, production and marketing as well as a logistics center are today. The publisher has around 15 permanent employees. The publishing house is operated as a GmbH & Co KG . The managing directors are the business economists Thomas Holzer and Gerhard Schröter.

Publishing program

The publishing program includes various series of specialist books on German tax law, the best-known being the 16-volume Green Series, which was originally designed together with the German Tax Union for training and studying for the senior service in tax administration.

The publisher is primarily aimed at practitioners, consultants, students and trainees in tax law. The first monthly client information has been offered specifically for tax advisors since the late 1950s. Digital information services and documentation collections in offline and online applications were added over time. We have been working with Otto Schmidt Verlag since 2020; the most important specialist books of the Erich Fleischer Verlag will then also appear in the online modules of the OSV.
