Erich Franzke

Erich Franzke (born June 13, 1931 in Paulau / Silesia ; † May 26, 1996 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After attending primary school, Franzke began an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. After completing his apprenticeship, he started working for Robert Bosch GmbH in Hildesheim. Here he was elected and released as a full-time works council.

From 1948 to 1956 he was active in youth work in the Socialist Youth - The Falcons . He became a member of the board of directors of Kreissparkasse Hildesheim and the supervisory board of the district housing construction company, also in Hildesheim. Since 1956 he was a member of the municipal council in the municipality of Algermissen . In 1959 he became a member of the district council of the Hildesheim-Marienburg district and was elected chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in 1966, which he chaired until February 1974. In March 1974 he became district administrator of the Hildesheim district .

Franzke was a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament from June 21, 1970 to June 20, 1978 in the seventh and eighth electoral terms.
