Erika Karata ( Japanese 唐田 え り か Karata Erika ; born September 19, 1997 in Kimitsu , Japan ) is a Japanese actress .

Life

In 2014, Erika Karata played a school girl in the Japanese-language music video Divine by the South Korean girl group Girls' Generation . Some appearances in Japanese television series followed. 2018 she played the lead role in the film Asako I & II by Ryusuke Hamaguchi , who in competition at Cannes was played.

In addition to her mother tongue, Karata speaks Korean and has also been under contract with the South Korean agency BH Entertainment since 2017.
