Erin Johnson (born December 27, 1990 in Crystal Lake , Illinois , United States ) is an American volleyball player .

Career

Johnson began her career on the University of Illinois volleyball team , where she was active between 2009 and 2012. During this time, the middle blocker got 471 block points in 125 games, which meant 6th place in the university’s all-time block leaderboard; it also contributed an average of 2.18 points per set. After graduating, Johnson worked as a trainer in the youth sector from 2012 and played in 2014 as part of a four-month commitment for the Austrian club ASKÖ Linz-Steg .

At the end of July 2016, the German volleyball champion and cup winner Dresdner SC announced the commitment of Erin Johnson. There Johnson managed with the team to reach third place in the championship standings, with the middle blocker falling out due to injury in the decisive play-off games.
