Memorial cross for 1814–1815 (Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt)

The Memorial Cross for 1814–1815 was donated on June 2, 1816 by Prince Friedrich Günther von Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt . It was intended as a badge of honor to be awarded to military personnel of the Rudolstadt federal contingent who took part in the war against France and who had proven themselves flawlessly.

Appearance

The award is a paw cross made of silver with a laurel wreath between the cross arms . In the obverse , on the arms of the cross, the multiline inscription Schwarzburg's good warriors for Germany's liberation can be read. The reverse in the middle of the two years 1814 1815 .

Carrying method

The award was worn on a light blue ribbon with white stripes on the left side of the chest.
