Commemorative medal for the 1866 campaign

The commemorative medal for the 1866 campaign was a military award for officers and men who took part in the 1866 campaign.

The founder was Prince Paul Friedrich Emil Leopold of the Principality of Lippe-Detmold . The date of foundation was February 13, 1867.

Order decoration

The order decoration was a round bronze medal. On the front the initials of the founder were crowned by the prince's crown and on the back the year 1866 was surrounded by a laurel wreath.

Ribbon

The ribbon was red with a yellow and white border on both sides. The award was worn on the left side of the chest.
