Erna Westhelle , married. Herbers (born May 2, 1925 in Amsterdam ) is a German swimmer and Olympic participant. It started for Undine in 1910 Mönchengladbach and ETV Hamburg .

Career

Westhelle, daughter of a Dutch woman and a German, won the German championship over 100 m back in 1943 and 1948.

Over this route she started under her married name Herbers together with Gertrud Herrbruck at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki . While Herrbruck was able to qualify for the final, Herbers was eliminated with a time of 1: 23.1 minutes in the preliminary run and came in 18th place in the overall standings among 20 participants.
