Ernest Fischer (born July 27, 1882 in Yverdon , † December 30, 1963 in Lausanne ) was a Swiss politician (FDP) .

biography

Ernest Fischer was born in Yverdon on July 27, 1882, the son of the haulier Frédéric Fischer and Jeanne (née Bugnon). Fischer studied Jus and completed in 1906 with the Lic. Iur. at the University of Lausanne . He was admitted to the bar in 1909 and then opened a law firm in Yverdon. He also served as President of the Yverdon District Courts .

Ernest Fischer, who married Louise (née Decker) in 1909, died on December 30, 1963 at the age of 81 in Lausanne.

As a member of Helvetia, Fischer presided over the central committee at the 1907 festival. A year later he worked on a history of the company. From 1909 to 1932 he was represented as a free-spirited politician in the municipal council of Yverdon, where he was responsible for the legislature . From 1914 to 1916 he was a member of the Vaudois Grand Council . From 1932 to 1946, Fischer was a state councilor and head of the finance department, which he allegedly led negligently.
