Outbuildings and natural monument avenue

The Ernestinenhof is an estate between Prottes and Schönkirchen-Reyersdorf in Lower Austria .

The farm was built in 1829 as the Meierhof of the Matzen rule by Christian Graf von Kinsky and named after his wife, Ernestine Freiin Poirot de Blainville. In 1833 ten people lived here; the herd was six horses, 37 cows, 300 sheep and 14 pigs. Around 1876, 20 people lived here. Later the agricultural company Gustav and Wilhelm Löw acquired the estate, in 1937 it belonged to the Doktor-Marianne-Hamburger-Löw'schen possessions and was run as Hachschara . Today there is a sparkling wine cellar in the yard.

The forest stands and a chestnut-linden avenue in the immediate vicinity of the farm are protected as natural monuments.
