Ernst-Dieter Bösche

Ernst-Dieter Bösche (born January 22, 1942 ) is a German local politician in Erftstadt . As a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), he was city ​​director and mayor of the city until 2009.

Ernst-Dieter Bösche is a graduate in administration (FH). Until 1989 he worked as district administration director and was then elected city director by the city council of Erftstadt. He was confirmed in this office in 1997. In the 1999 local elections, Bösche was elected the city's first full-time mayor. On August 19, 2009, Bösche declared his resignation from the SPD for personal reasons and accordingly did not run as a candidate for mayor in the 2009 local elections .

He was mayor until October 20, 2009, after which he was succeeded by Franz-Georg Rips .
