Ernst-Ulrich Alda (born September 8, 1955 in Essen ) is a German politician of the FDP party . From 2012 to 2017 he was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament .

Ernst-Ulrich Alda passed his secondary school leaving certificate in 1970 and trained as a textile machine mechanic, which he completed in 1973. After qualifying for a university of applied sciences in 1974, he graduated as an office administrator in 1978 . From 1979 to 1984 he studied at the University of Essen and graduated with a degree in business administration . Alda works as a business graduate and personnel consultant .

In 2000 Alda became a member of the FDP . In 2002 he became deputy district chairman of the FDP in Hagen and was elected district chairman in 2008. Since 2009 he has been a member of the Hagen city council. Alda competed in the 2005 state elections , the 2010 state elections and the 2012 state elections for the FDP in the Hagen I state electoral district , in which he achieved a share of 4.8%, 3.3% and 4.0% of the votes. After the 2012 state election, he entered the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia above his 20th place on the list. In the state elections in 2017 , Alda missed the move.
