Ernst Bürstinghaus

Ernst Ludwig Bürstinghaus (born July 23, 1865 in Dortmund , † after 1926) was a German opera singer ( baritone ).

Life

Bürstinghaus began his career in 1903 at the Troppau City Theater. Then he went to Halle / Saale, Mainz and Chemnitz. From 1911 to 1915 he worked at the Breslau Opera.

Well-known roles were "Telramund" in Lohengrin , "Hans Sachs" in Meistersinger and "Amonasro" in Aida .

He was married from 1913 to 1926 to the opera singer Lotte Dörwald (née Elisabeth Charlotte Derwald ).
