Ernst Martin Walsken (born June 1, 1947 in Solingen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and manager.

Ernst Martin Walsken is the son of the painter Ernst Walsken, who was persecuted by the Nazis . The graduate in administrative management (FH) worked for the Bundestag member Arthur Killat from 1969 . From 1970 he held various positions for the SPD in the Niederrhein district , later in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia as state manager (1991–1995). From 1985 to 2003 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1995 he was elected deputy chairman of the parliamentary group, and in 1999 he was elected budget and financial policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group. In 2003 Walsken moved to Deutsche Telekom , in the Competence Center Group Management. From August 2003 to the end of 2008, he was responsible for representing the interests of business and politics at T-Systems . Walsken then founded his own consulting company in Duisburg. He organizes the Health 4.0 congress with the management consultancy MCC - Management Center of Competence .

Walsken is married to the politician Gisela Walsken (SPD) for the second time and has two children.
