The Errant Glacier is a glacier in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . It flows south along the east side of the Holyoake Range in the Churchill Mountains to the Nimrod Glacier .
The glacier served the crew of a campaign of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition carried out from 1960 to 1961 as the northern route after the exploration of the Nimrod Glacier in December 1960. Participants in this expedition named it after the often misguided ( English errant ) ascent over this glacier .
