First speaker

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

First speaker is a term used for negotiators who are the first to make contact with perpetrators or victims in a crisis (e.g. planned suicide , barricading, threats or hostage-taking ). This can be initiated by the speaker or the perpetrator. First spokespersons can be found at the police , fire brigades and in prisons . First spokespersons can be psychologists or pastors or police officers, correctional officers or fire fighters. You will receive special training and should contribute to de-escalating the crisis situation. The concrete action of the emergency services is secret so that it cannot be foreseen by the perpetrators.
