The Erve Kots Museum is a small open-air museum with a pancake restaurant , conference center and brewery in Lievelde (municipality of Oost Gelre ), Gelderland province , Netherlands .
history
Originally, Erve Kots was an inn . At the time of the Eighty Years' War against Spain, Prince Friedrich Heinrich of Orange had his headquarters here during the siege of Groenlo . The inn, later a farmhouse, was lived in and operated by the Henry Vomit family until 1936. A model of the trenches that arose during the siege around Groenlo can be found in the new museum building.

The museum shows the life of farming families with servants and animals from the Achterhoek region . Both the work with the domestic animals and the domestic textile work of the farmer are shown. You can see several farms furnished with original equipment and a mill . There is also a sawmill operated by steam engines , which is maintained as a museum facility. The entire complex also includes an inn, an oil mill and a small brewery.
