Erwin Pfänder

Erwin Pfänder (born March 16, 1937 in Dortmund ) is a German politician and former member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament of the SPD .

Life and work

After attending elementary school and secondary school , he completed an administration apprenticeship. Pfänder passed the first and second administrative examinations and was employed by the city of Dortmund as a senior civil servant, most recently as a senior official until 1975. From 1979 to 1983 he worked as a commercial clerk . In 1991 he became director of the housing development agency of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Pfänder joined the SPD in 1959. He is active in numerous bodies of the party. He has been a member of various DGB trade unions for years.

MP

From May 28, 1975 to April 30, 1991 Pfänder was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituencies 110 and 131 Dortmund II. In the eleventh electoral term, he left the state parliament on April 30, 1991.
