Erwin Stein Maßl

Erwin Stein Maßl (born July 26, 1924 in Krems an der Donau , † April 29, 1967 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and secretary of the Austrian Federal Railways. From 1966 to 1967 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

After primary school in Krems, Stein Maßl also attended the Krems secondary school and then graduated from the Krems commercial school. He entered the service of the railway in 1941, attended the social academy and worked as a director's secretary. From 1954 he became politically active as a local councilor in Krems, he was also chairman of the management of the railway workers' union, between 1956 and 1964 he was vice-president of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees of Lower Austria and from 1964 deputy chamber director of the Lower Austria Chamber of Labor. He represented the SPÖ between March 30, 1966 and April 29, 1967 in the National Council.
