Erwin Stixenberger

Erwin Stixenberger , called Stixi (born May 30, 1965 ) is a singer from Herisau in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden .

biography

The trained businessman and postal worker works full-time as a key account manager for Direct Mail Company AG and is a presenter at Radio Eviva .

In addition, Stixenberger appears as a solo singer or in a duet as Stixi and Sonja with his wife Sonja Truffer . Many of the songs interpreted by them are composed by Franz Regli .

Stixenberger is a member of the Swiss People's Party (SVP) . He became a cantonal councilor in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden on March 20, 2006 , but did not manage to be re-elected in the 2007 general election.
