Erythrina alkaloids are natural substances of the isoquinoline alkaloid type.

Occurrence

The alkaloids occur in Erythrina species, e.g. B. in the common coral tree and Erythrina herbacea .

Representative

The Erythina alkaloids include u. a. Erysodine , erytharbine , erythrartine and erysotramidine .

properties

Erythrina alkaloids have a sedative , hypotensive, CNS depressive, laxative and diuretic effect.
