eSobi is a multi-purpose Internet tool that combines RSS reader , meta search engine and information archive in a single interface. The "light" version of eSobi (also eSobi News Center), which combines both the news reader and an archive, was preinstalled on Acer computers worldwide .

history

eSobi was first developed by esobi Inc. in 2006 as Windows-based shareware for reading RSS messages, for searching across engines and for centralized file management for received Internet information. eSobi is one of the few RSS readers that carries the Certified for Windows Vista logo for full compatibility with the Windows Vista operating system.

Early in the first quarter of 2007, eSobi partnered with Acer Inc. to pre-install the eSobi messaging center on Acer desktop and laptop computers, including the Acer Aspire One netbooks . eSobi can also be found on USB memory sticks from Transcend and on some MSI motherboard models.
