The Estadio Miguel Grau is a multifunctional stadium in the Peruvian city of Piura that was built in 1958. It is located in the east of the urban area not far from the airport and is named after the Peruvian admiral Miguel Grau .
It is used as the home stadium for the Atlético Grau football club . The stadium has undergone a lot of renovations over time, mainly for the 2004 Copa América . For these international competitions, the capacity has been increased to 25,000 places. Some games of the U-17 World Cup in 2005 were played here, for which artificial turf was laid and a new electronic scoreboard was installed.
