Etienne Guilhou
Etienne Guilhou (born February 12, 1896 in Paris , † November 1966 ) was a French Romanist who worked in the Netherlands .
life and work
Etienne Charles Dieudonné Guilhou studied at the Sorbonne and in 1924 was the Agrégation des Lettres. At the University of Amsterdam he was a lecturer in French from 1925 and an associate professor from 1933. In 1940 he escaped the German occupation by fleeing to France. From 1945 to 1962 he filled his professorship again.
