Eugen Freier (born April 29, 1957 ) is a former Polish - German football player and current coach .

Career

Eugen Freier played for a year in his career for the Polish first division club Polonia Bytom . After an injury during a friendship tournament at VfL Bochum , he had to end his career in 1976. Then he became a junior coach in Bytom. Freier moved to Germany in 1990 with his wife and two children and settled in the Sauerland . After coaching at SV Holzen and SSV Stockum, he coached the first team of TuS Müschede 07 from 2012 to 2014.

His son Paul (* 1979) is also a former soccer player and also a German national player .
