In 1903 by Eugen Heinz sen. founded company is led by publisher Peter Heinz in the fourth generation. In 1905 the first edition of the Zuffenhäuser Rundschau appeared. By Oct 2014 the publisher had published six advertising papers (Zuffenhäuser Woche, Feuerbacher Woche, Green Week Botnang , Weilimdorfer Anzeiger, Green Week Gerlingen , Stadt-Rundschau Korntal-Münchingen ) and the weekly Heinz! for Bad Cannstatt and the surrounding area with a total circulation of over 120,000 copies.

The Green Week Botnang is now in its 65th year (as of 2014), the Weilimdorfer Anzeiger in the 64th year and the Zuffenhausen Week in the 61st year; they are among the oldest advertising papers in Germany.

With effect from October 1, 2014, the newspaper titles were sold to the Stadtanzeiger Group (Böblingen, parent company Reiff-Medien, Offenburg) and have been published by GW Zeitungsverlag GmbH since then.

The Stadtanzeiger Group has sold its publishing activities and newspaper titles, including Green Week, to the Stuttgart newspaper group (Stuttgarter Zeitung and other newspapers) and stopped publishing all newspaper titles at short notice from May 17, 2017. From this point onwards, no free printed weekly newspaper Grüne Woche (and other titles) will be published and distributed free of charge. This ends a newspaper tradition that was founded in Zuffenhausen in 1903.
