Brand TROST

In April 2016, WM SE, based in Osnabrück, acquired all shares in TROST SE from the Trost family and the Joachim Herz Foundation . With retroactive effect from January 1, 2016, TROST Fahrzeugteile will be listed as a brand of WM SE.

The group of companies supplies the independent workshop market from around 240 locations in 6 countries. In the service area, TROST Fahrzeugteile is represented with a web-based parts and technology catalog and the workshop software repdoc as well as marketing and workshop concepts.

Eugen Trost GmbH & Co. KG

Ernst Misol founded one of the first automotive parts wholesalers in Germany in 1904 in Bad Cannstatt . In 1934 his son-in-law Eugen Trost joined the company. After the company was handed over to his son Fritz Trost, there was an expansion phase. The establishment of the joint venture TEMOT Autoteile Trost & Völlm KG led to synergies in the range policy . In 1971, Trost and other companies founded TEMOT Germany and in 1994 TEMOT International , a group of currently 25 companies from the independent aftermarket spare parts industry.

In 1996 the Autofit workshop concept was developed as a full-service concept for technical, organizational and communication services. The Truckfit brand, geared towards commercial vehicle workshops, followed in 2005. In 2007, further workshop concepts were presented with Autoauto, AutoGo and Autonetto. With the takeover of the Meteor Group in April 2008, Trost expanded its sales network to include Eastern Europe.

KSM ServiceTechnik GmbH & Co. KG

KSM ServiceTechnik GmbH & Co. KG was created on January 1, 2000 through the merger of the Bosch wholesalers Kruse (Hamburg), Schöberl (Lübeck) and Maurer (Hanover) and the former Bosch sales outlet in Berlin. The aim was to bundle the wholesale and workshop equipment businesses and the uniform supply of workshops with motor vehicle parts and accessories. KSM customers were also offered the Bosch Car Service and 1a autoservice workshop concepts.

Trost Auto Service Technik SE

The company was created on April 1, 2009 through the merger of the two companies Eugen Trost GmbH & Co. KG and KSM ServiceTechnik GmbH & Co. KG. The Trost family held a share of 60 percent, the Hamburg Joachim Herz Foundation a share of 40 percent.

The company was a full-line supplier that had branded automotive manufacturers in its portfolio. TROST also offered its own brands in the field of motor oils (Masteroil), wear parts (Repstar), chemicals (Mastercare) and workshop equipment (Monochrome).

Repdoc (spelling: repdoc ) is an online-based parts and technology catalog and workshop software from TROST. Repdoc's parts and technology catalog contains around 2.5 million items and provides vehicle and spare parts data as well as technical data such as B. maintenance plans or recalls from various manufacturers are available. The Repdoc workshop software supports the processes of a motor vehicle workshop, such as B. order acceptance or monitoring of incoming payments.

The company operated two logistics centers in Winsen (Luhe) and Nýřany (Czech Republic) with a total of 74,000 m². In Germany and the Czech Republic, TROST supplied its customers several times a day and once overnight (Innight delivery).

The company offered marketing and services for vehicle workshops. The following workshop concepts were sold: Autofit, 1a autoservice, Autoauto, Bosch Car Service, AutoCrew and Truckfit. In addition to service and repair hotlines, around 1,200 training courses with around 8,000 participants were held every year.
