Euphorbia adenochila is a species of plant of the genus milkweed ( Euphorbia ) in the family of the milkweed family(Euphorbiaceae).

description

The succulent Euphorbia adenochila has a bulbous root that is up to 3 centimeters in diameter. A short trunk rises from it, which branches out above the ground. The twigs, covered with overlapping warts, are 1.5 centimeters long and 1 centimeter in diameter. The egg-shaped leaves arise from the tips of the wart and are up to 2 centimeters wide and 1 centimeter long. They stand on a 1 centimeter long petiole, the leaf margins are wavy.

The inflorescence consists of one to three cymes that appear at the tips of the shoots. They are forked two to five times and the rays are up to 2 centimeters long. The seated bracts resemble the leaves. Cyathia 2.5 millimeters in size are formed. The pocket-like and white nectar glands are 1.75 millimeters in size and are spread out on the outer edge. The inner edge is shaped like a lip. The 3.5 millimeter wide and 4 millimeter long fruit stands on a bent 3.5 millimeter long stem. The slightly contracted seed becomes 3 millimeters wide and 2.5 millimeters long.
