The succulent Euphorbia appariciana forms small shrubs up to 20 centimeters in height. Irregular twigs sprout from the base of a fibrous root and branch out into whorls . The six-ribbed shoots are dirty green in color and the internodes, which are up to 4.5 centimeters long, taper in the area of ​​the reddish nodes. The short-lived leaves are about 5 millimeters long and 2 millimeters wide.

Flowers and an unripe fruit

Individual, almost sedentary cyathia are formed, which reach 3 millimeters in diameter. The nectar glands are equipped with very small teeth on the edges. The bluntly lobed fruit becomes 4 millimeters wide and 5 millimeters long. The spherical seed is about 2 millimeters in size.

Euphorbia appariciana is distributed in Brazil in the state of Bahia .
