Euphorbia cattimandoo is a species of the genus spurge ( Euphorbia ) in the family of Euphorbiaceae (Euphorbiaceae).

description

The succulent Euphorbia cattimandoo forms richly branched trees up to 4.5 meters high and a round crown. The trunk is up to 1 meter long. The distinctly pentagonal branches have protruding, bulged teeth on the edges. Thorns about 5 millimeters long are formed. The obovate leaves are about 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. They are sedentary and ephemeral.

The inflorescence consists of one to two-fold bifurcated cymen , which stand on stems about 5 millimeters long. The elliptical nectar glands butt against each other. The clearly lobed fruit stands on a far protruding and bent back stem. Nothing is known about the seeds.

Distribution and systematics

Euphorbia cattimandoo is common in the coastal areas in eastern India .
