Euphorbia debilispina is a species of the genus milkweed ( Euphorbia ) in the family of the milkweed family(Euphorbiaceae).
description
The succulent Euphorbia debilispina grows as a small shrub and reaches a height of about 12.5 centimeters. The dense branching creates very compact plants. On the edges of the blunt square and up to 1 centimeter thick shoots are flat and rounded warts. The triangular thorn shields stand individually and are 4 millimeters long and 2 millimeters wide. Up to 3 millimeters long thorns and secondary leaf thorns are formed.
The inflorescence is composed of simple and individual cymes and stands on a 2 to 3 millimeter long stalk. The cyathia reach a diameter of 4.5 millimeters. The elliptical nectar glands meet and are colored yellow. The bluntly lobed fruit is about 3.5 millimeters long and 4.25 millimeters wide. She is almost sitting. The egg-shaped seed becomes 2 millimeters long and 1.5 millimeters wide. The seed surface is densely covered with warts.
Distribution and systematics
Euphorbia debilispina is common in central Zambia on limestone cliffs in loosely wooded areas.
The species was first described in 1992 by Leslie Charles Leach .
