Eurial is a French company in the dairy industry . It was created through the merger of the dairy and marketing activities of the agricultural cooperatives Eurial Poitouraine and Agrial . On November 4, 2015, the board of directors of the two cooperatives approved the merger that has been sought for several years. The approval of the competition authorities is still pending, the final merger is planned for June 2016. The company's headquarters are in Nantes and the current CEO of Eurial Poitouraine, Olivier Athimon, is the chairman of the board.

Key figures

Taken together, the two cooperatives collect around 2.7 billion liters of raw milk (2.6 billion liters of cow's milk, 220 million liters of goat's milk) from around 6,400 members, of which around 60 million liters are organic milk. The number of employees is over 4,000. Added up, Eurial's turnover reaches around 2.3 billion euros, creating the second largest cooperative milk processor in France behind Sodiaal .

Product range

The future range will mainly include goat cheese, cheese products, fresh milk products, long-life milk, milk powder, butter and cream.
