The European Elementary School Goldschlagstraße is an elementary school in the 15th district in Vienna .

history

The school was built in 1910 under Mayor Josef Neumayer . In 1945 Leopold Zechner, who later became President of the City School Council for Vienna, headed the rebuilding of the Vienna school system after the Second World War, in the spirit of a free and democratic Austria . With these words in mind, the current offer of the school was designed, which has the European dimension and reform pedagogy anchored in the model.

Architecture and buildings

The school building is in a residential street with benches without traffic, and has a schoolyard with old trees and a playground. The building was renovated and adapted to today's level of equipment. The school has a library, media room, gymnasium, learning workshop, creative room, small kitchen, group rooms for individual and group supervision.
