European Association for Migrant Workers Issues

The European association for migrant workers issues e. V. (EVW; English : European Migrant Workers Union (EMWU)) is a lobby organization that campaigns for the rights of migrant workers . Its seat is Munich . It has the legal form of a registered association and was founded in 2004 on the initiative of IG Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt .

The association, which sees itself as politically independent, campaigns for workers in the construction industry and in agriculture and forestry who are posted to other countries. Most of the EVW members are Poles , the second largest group are Romanians , as well as Hungarians , Bulgarians and Turks .
