The Europe Direct information centers act as an interface between citizens and the European Union (EU) at local level and are part of the Europe Direct information network. Europe Direct's Europe-wide network consists of around 500 information centers, 59 of which are located in Germany. The supporting institutions have applied to a Europe-wide tender and receive an operating grant for this activity. You must submit an annual action plan for approval to the European Commission, in which the activities are planned based on the communication priorities set by the European Commission for the different years.
