European Doctoral School of Demography

The European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD) is an institution supported by twelve European universities and five research institutions for the training of doctoral students who want to do a doctorate in the field of demographic research. It is an annual 11-month training course. The location rotates every two years between the institutions that carry the EDSD. The EDSD awards a European Research Master to successful graduates.
