The European Emergency Number Association ( EENA ) is a non-governmental organization based in Brussels . The aim is a better international network of emergency call processing centers as well as joint projects.

Members

According to its own information, EENA currently has around 1300 members in over 80 countries worldwide. These include emergency call centers, international organizations, members of the European Parliament and researchers.

Projects

Many projects are carried out with the European Union , for example the “HELP 112” project, which aimed to transmit the caller's position data. This project also led, among other things, to the open source standard Advanced Mobile Location .
