European Regions Airline Association

The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) is an association of over 230 companies in European regional air traffic. It was founded in 1980 on the initiative of Crossair founder Moritz Suter with five airlines - Crossair, NFD , Tyrolean Airways , Brit Air and Air UK .

Today, ERA has 70 airlines, which fly to 250 airports with a total of 1,300 aircraft and serve 1,800 routes. Every year around 83 million passengers are carried on a total of 2.2 million flights. Smaller airports are also members, such as Cardiff and Budapest airports . The aircraft manufacturers ATR and BAE Systems are also members.
