Eurosonic Noorderslag
The Euro Sonic Noorderslag is a cross-genre music festival in the Dutch city of Groningen and will be held in January each year.
The festival was founded in 1986 as a one-day event. In 1990, conferences and seminars for the music industry were added as an accompanying program. The program was extended to several days. For the first three days, music acts from all over Europe will play in various locations as a Eurosonic festival , with a separate focus on one nation. The fourth day is reserved for Dutch artists who present themselves at the Noorderslag Festival . Among other things, the EBBA Awards will be presented in the conference program .
In 2015 there were over 40,000 visitors with 345 music performances on 42 stages.
