Eva Cantarella
Eva Cantarella (* 1936 in Rome ) is an Italian legal historian .
Life
Eva Cantarella is the daughter of the Graecist and Byzantinist Raffaele Cantarella (1898–1977).
After finishing school, Cantarella studied history. Cantarella got a job at the Law Faculty of Camerino University , where she taught Roman law and Ancient Greek law. Then she became a professor at the University of Milan . Cantarella has been represented in many guest lectures at European and US universities. She received a visiting professorship at New York University Law School in New York .
Cantarella wrote several books that have been translated into different languages. She is co-editor of the trade journal Dike. International Journal of Greek Law and on the advisory board of various journals such as Apollo. Bolettino di Musei Provinciali del Salernitano , Dioniso , Crime, histoire et Societés and Revista des estudios latinos .
