Eva Graul

Eva Graul (* 1952 in Münster ) is a German lawyer and former professor at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

Life

After studying mathematics and Protestant theology for one semester, Graul began studying law at the University of Marburg in 1973 . In 1978 she passed her first state examination in law there, and her second in 1981. After three years as a research assistant at a BGH law firm , she began to work as a research assistant for Dieter Meurer in Marburg in 1985 . In 1989 she did her doctorate there. In 1993 the habilitation followed, with which the venia legendi for the subjects of criminal law and criminal procedure law was connected.

In the 1993/94 winter semester, Graul held a chair at the University of Frankfurt am Main . From 1994 until her retirement in 1999, she was a full professor at Heidelberg University .
