Eva Nordung Byström
Eva Nordung Byström (born April 21, 1957 in Härnösand ) is a Swedish clergyman. Since 2014 she has been bishop of the Diocese of Härnösand in the Lutheran Church of Sweden .
Life
Byström studied Protestant theology . In 1984 she was ordained a Lutheran pastor and then worked in various parishes in Jämtland and Västernorrland . From 2004 to 2014, it was the main pastor ( kyrkoherde ) in the municipality of Örnsköldsvik belonging rural community Årnäs, since 2007 also Provost of Provost Örnsköldsvik. In 2014 she was elected as the successor to Bishop Tuulikki Koivunen Bylund in the Diocese of Härnösand and consecrated on December 14, 2014 in Uppsala Cathedral.
