Evamarie Taferner , also Evamaria Taferner , (born November 5, 1929 in Linz , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian writer.

Life

Her Upper Austrian homeland, the land around the Danube and the description of the eventful fate of people form the focus of her work. Almost all texts move in the context of contemporary history with socio-critical aspects that cannot be overlooked.

Her works include novels, short stories, short stories and poetry. She is regularly represented at author readings both in the Adalbert Stifterhaus in Linz and elsewhere.
