history
In 2011 the Protestant regular school in Erfurt was approved by the state of Thuringia as a substitute school.
At the beginning of the 2014/15 school year, the Protestant regular school was converted and approved by the state according to the Thuringian community school model as part of the school development process in the Free State of Thuringia and due to the strong demand from parents in the state capital. State recognition took place in March 2017. Since then it has been called the Evangelical Community School Erfurt (EGE) - 1st Erfurt Plan School.
School profile
The educational concept was jointly developed by the school management, the school's teachers and the school authority of the Evangelical School Foundation in Central Germany and shaped into a special educational reform concept that is unique in Germany.
