Evangelical Johanneskapelle Ewersbach
The Protestant Johanneskapelle is a listed church building in Ewersbach , a district of the Dietzhölztal community in the Lahn-Dill district ( Hesse ). It is registered under the number 132497 in the list of cultural monuments in Dietzhölztal .

The building in the Bergebersbach district dates from the 13th century. A major remodeling took place in the 15th century. The chapel has a gable roof with a small turret . This is a hipped roof in the west and hipped to the east. The interior has a three-sided gallery, which dates from the 17th century. A triumphal arch leads to the choir as a flattened pointed arch.
With the merger of the districts in 1937, the building lost its function to the parish church of Ewersbach . It was used by the Catholic community from 1945 to 1950. The chapel has been owned by the Dietzhölztal community since 2001 . After a thorough renovation, it is now used for weddings and festive events.
