Evangelical newspaper
The Evangelische Zeitung is a church newspaper published by the Evangelical Press Association for Northern Germany. It was created in July 2017 from the editorial merger of the two newspapers Die Nordelbische and Evangelische Zeitung for the churches in Lower Saxony . There are partial requirements for the churches in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, parts of Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The latter appears under the name Mecklenburgische und Pommersche Kirchenzeitung . The total circulation as of January 1, 2020 was 14,500 copies. The newspaper appears weekly.
