The Evangelistic Assemblies of God Tanzania (EAGT) is a charismatic free church in Tanzania . The EAGT has around 2800 pastors. It is one of the largest free churches in Tanzania and is also widespread in rural areas.

history

The EAGT congregation spread due to the activity of travel preachers, who often traveled the country on foot under difficult conditions and founded new churches.

Facilities

The EAGT has 6 Bible schools (2 of them in Dodoma ). In addition, the EAGT has had a dispensary ( ambulance ) in Singida since 2010 .
