Everlost is a Russian melodic death metal band from Moscow that was formed in 2001.

history

The band was founded in April 2001 by guitarists Andrey Smirnov and Pavel Chernobay. After studying a few songs, they looked for other band members. Shortly afterwards, singer Dmitry Antonov and bassist Sergey Volkov joined the band. With this line-up they recorded the first demo Suicidal Instincts . In the spring of 2003 Dmitry Antonov left the band again, so that guitarist Smirnov now also filled the post of singer. At the same time, drummer Sergey Serebrennikov joined the cast. This was followed by various smaller appearances and work on new material. In the fall of 2003, the band completed their debut album Bitterness of the Triumph , with the recording taking place in the Megaton Studio . At the end of the year the band signed a contract with Soyuz Music , so that the album was released on this label in March 2004. After the release, a tour with Vader followed . In January 2006, work began on the second album Noise Factory . The recordings took place in Moscow in the DreamPort Studio , with Maxim Samosvat as a guest singer. The album was released that same year. In 2008 the band worked on the next album, Eclectica , until it was released in February 2009. The album was the first in the band's history with Russian lyrics. Evgeny Egorov from Epidemia could also be heard as a guest singer . Instruments such as a violin or a grand piano were also included on the album . In September 2011 the next album The Way of the Rebellious was released . The album was dedicated to Everlost's guitarist Pavel Chernobay, who died in 2009 at the age of 26.
