Evgenia Fölsche

Evgenia Fölsche (* 1983 in Kaluga ) is a Russian pianist living in Germany .

biography

Evgenia Fölsche began playing the piano at the age of five, and just a year later she gained her first experience on the concert stage. Evgenia Fölsche moved to Moscow for her pianistic studies and attended the Russian Gnessin Music Academy . She passed the exam with distinction. In order to gain international musical experience, she attended Professor Lev Natochenny's master class at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and studied accompaniment with Professor Eugen Wangler. This was followed by appearances at international music festivals in Germany and the United States, as well as concert tours with the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie in Germany and Italy . Evgenia Fölsche took a concert break for her parental leave and resumed her concert activities in many German concert halls in early 2013 .

Awards

As a teenager, Evgenia Fölsche won several prizes in piano and chamber music competitions. She was a prizewinner at the international Tatiana Nikolaeva competition for young pianists, the 1st all-Russian open competition “New Names”, the International Russian Chamber Music Competition Taneyev for piano trio and other competitions.
