The evn naturkraft is a 100% subsidiary of EVN AG and has as its corporate objective the production of electricity from renewable energy sources. Equity amounts to EUR 58.6 million . The company was converted on November 21, 1995 from Magyar-Elektrizitäts- Beteiligungs-GmbH to Elektrizitätswerke Gußwerk GmbH - with location 8632 Gußwerk, Grüner Baum - into evn naturkraft Generation and Distribution GmbH and is now based in 2344 Maria Enzersdorf, EVN Space.

- 70% in the hydroelectric power plants Trieb und Krieglach GmbH
- 33% in Kraftwerk Nussdorf Errichtungs- und Betriebs GmbH
- 100% in Naturkraft EOOD, based in Bulgaria, which built and operates a photovoltaic park with 837.6 kW electrical peak power near Blatec in 2010.
- 70% in EVN-ENERTRAG Kavarna OOD (Bulgaria), which together with a partner will build a wind farm in Kavarna near the northeastern Bulgarian town of Balgarevo.
- 100% in EVN ENERGIA NATURALE SRL, based in Rome
